Nehme, In starting i faced this issue!
But after i tried forget password method in that login page.
Then you need to provide your mail id, it will send you a verification mail.
Open your mail, check that verification mail you got, click it, verify that.
Change your new password by the link of verification mail.
Apply your new Username/Password in the login page!
Try & Say!!
on iPad, one can have the credentials remebered - but the 'log-in' button is not activ when the login dialog appears (with credentials already set..). One has to add one character, then delete that character again - and it works
therefore, could be another issue with jive..
Same here with Safari on a Mac. The only plus here is if one use the TAB key (but not the mouse) to enter PW field, which is less painful that type a character, the button came active. This was reported months ago.
ah? probably solved by el capitan -- i will try on my wife's computer .
I am on 10.10.5
ah, your wife is the one with the new iMac 4k while you still have to work with a Power Mac?
Thank you Suresh,
I fact, this is what I am doing
But I have done it around 20 times.
Each time I succeed to login, but the next time it happens again
About the inactive login button, it is always happening with me on Windows 7, on Chrome and Firefox navigators
Not exactly : she owns the less critical MacBook of the house : safari, mail... so she is (secretely) my beta tester .
Nehme, Me also using the same system config(Win 7 - Chrome). In Chrome i got this issue, but in Firefox it solved!!
If the PC is your personal means try this below concept:
Once you tried new username/password which verified, after you logging-in with new username/password use "keep me logged in".
It will put full-stop for your log-in issues & save your time!!
All the best!
Thank you very much for your help Suresh.
I am always using the "keep me logged in"
But I am always being logged out again ... and here we go again
In this question, I have 3 posts.
For each one of them, I am resetting my password. Can you imaging this?
I had the exact same issue some time ago.
Check upper-/lowercase in your login name.
The login name is case sensitive.
Reading closely what is written in any of the "verification mails" you got so far, you can see what case you're login name is stored with.
Best regards Magnus Fransson.
Thanks Magnus and Suresh
The problem was that it is a case sensitive name problem
I was putting nehme instead of Nehme
It appears that previously, I was automatically logged in. Now that I am trying to do so myself, I was writing nehme
