FileMaker makes some features that you can bypass using script steps.
For sure, if you are on a tab, you run a script => you will end up on another tab: This is not elegant at all.
This is why you can use a script that detects the front tab at the beginning of the current script, and another that loads the previous front tab at the end of the the current script
In general, you must name all your tabs,
then use the GetLayoutObjectAttribute ( $objectName; "isFrontTabPanel" )
and at the end of the script, use Go to Object [ $objectName ]
This will bring the front tab again to the top
Well, you could have the first tab completely empty except for a text that says "please select one of our specialties", call it "menu" and define it as default front tab...
