fmsadmin command  -y

I was wondering what's the purpose of the -y in the following command:

fmsadmin close -y -u <user> -p <pass> -t 30 -m "The server will shut down for maintenance in 30 seconds.  It will be available again in 15 minutes."

btw I did also type fmsadmin help close into my command prompt but it only explained the -t and -m and optional -f but did not mention -y.
