I would start with the following:
-Check that the Application is uninstalled under Control Panel > Programs and Features...
-Verify you are using a local Administrator Account for the computer
-Download a fresh installer for FileMaker Pro 14.0.4 (Advanced) from your Software Download Page with Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
-Place the installer on the root of your C:\
-Run the installer

You would also get this error if you were trying to install the 64-bit version of FMP(A) on a 32-bit system.
