Activate "List view" for the layout in question. Then switch to list view in browse mode.
Thanks for the reply Torsten,
I have already tried using the List View, but it only presents one image per row in Browse mode as shown below.
I had set the layout up to view in 4 columns, which is a more effective way of using screen real estate- see the layout mode below
However, FM does not show the columns in Browse mode,
you have to go into PREVIEW Mode as shown below.
Any other thoughts, or is it a limitation of FM that I will have to work with?
I have a Display of records 10x10
This is achieved by placing 100 Portals on the layout each displaying one Portal row.
Portal 1 Displays row 1
Portal 2 Displays row 2 etc etc
The fields in the Portal are Buttons to link to the actual data.
Each set of 100 (in my case) have a common "Link" field.
Very interesting - I'll give it a try - there are only hundreds of records not millions so the perf should be OK
I guess it'll be a little tedious setting it up, but once it's done...
Genemapper is on the right track, but you can simplify by putting a single row of portals with multiple rows each. First portal shows rows 1 - 10; second shows rows 11 - 20, and so forth. The last portal shows all remaining rows (like 51 - X, or whatever).
That's presuming you don't mind the records showing in columns rather than rows.
Worked a treat !!
