FM14, the last versions, tend to Crash on OS X 10.11.1 and similar:

BUT  !!

Especially the ones trying to write to Field Names which don't exist:

I had bad troubles some weeks ago. And now a similar accident finally gave me a glimpse on the most probable cause:

Using writing to field by Name, I tryed to write to something like    PERSON::popWLE::FieldNameX

(was nowhere near my intention, but shit happens)

If You do that in a loop I now can almost promise You your own personal crash. When the two Tables exist and the FieldNameX as well, Your chance ist very good to see that miracle happening. At least on Mac.

Those crashes look a bit like this in the !Beginning:

Exception Type:        EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

Exception Codes:       KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x000007fe17a388b8

Exception Note:        EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Do similar things happen wich FM 14 on Windows ?

Looks like some of our FM kernel on OSX friends in Calaifornia got some work to do

- I do hope this helps them to get home earlier for kids, wife and tree !  :-)
