Well, it's announced that 32bit is deprecated.
It still works for FM 14 and for FM 15 we'll have to wait and see what FileMaker actually removes or not.
Deprecation notes don't say whether things are removed for 15, 16 or 17.
I doubt that FMI would deprecate it until until Microsoft deprecates 32-bit windows and office products, but clearly 32-bit is on the way out not just for FM products...
Try telling that to my IT people!
BTW when FM say deprecated, does it mean that something is no longer supported at all in terms of updates for security/bugs etc. or does it mean that something will no longer be available in a future? e.g. no 32 bit version Filemaker 16.

In the future. But without an indication as to what version of FM it will happen.
It's a general heads-up to allow everyone to prepare accordingly.
I'd be surprised if there was one IT department that does not know that 32-bit is on the way out...
