Are you referring to (1) "update" as in patch? Or (2) "update", as in upgrade?
(1) No. There are specific updates for each product. Sometimes the patches can be used for either product. But the update description will specify which product it is for. ( Often the OS X version is a single file for both products )
(2) That is a sales question, and I would call FMI to ask that question.
it's difficult to understand your question. If you have FMPA then an update will update that application. If you have FMP then that's what will be updated. I assume you're speaking of software updates. If not then what? An fmp12 file is read by either and the same data will appear regardless of which you launch.
I think this is an Upgrade question. The answer is No.
I should have been more specific - Upgrade from FMP12 Advanced to FMP 13 regular.
The answer is no.
