Any permissions missing on the databases? If you have the server set only to display databases the user can see, then you might see more than he does.
Where is it you're not "seeing" the database? In Open Remote?
We are both using the same admin sign in and password. He was able to see it and work with a few days ago :/
When I restart the server, he can see it, but I don't want use that as an option.
Happy New Year
I'm going to assume this is through Open Remote (since you didn't answer that question).
It sounds like there's a problem with his machine. Can he log in from your machine?
Hi, yes i open remote. We have 2 database, both with same admin sign in and password, that way he can see both after sign in with open remote.... He only sees one. He has restarted is PC, we are in different locations. I can see on my mac in out of the country (Miami and Bermuda), he work in another country (Colombia).
All very strange, wasn't sure if other PC users were having a similar problem. I have only worked on Mac's, so not familiar with PC's or Windows.
Well, that introduces a large number of variables. Out of country, quality of network, the installation on his box, the patching, etc.
Does he have your server saved as a favorite? If not, can he? Is he trying to address the server via IP address or DNS name?
I don't know about favorites, I will ask him, he is using the IP address.
It sounds like something is wonky with his particular setup. I would try accessing the database from a PC there locally; see if you can do that. Then, he might need to uninstall / reinstall FileMaker.
But see if he can save the server as a favorite first. Also, you may want to look at your network. Are you accessing it from inside a firewall, and he's outside? If so, are all the ports configured correctly?
