Your screen shot is ginormous.
When doing a screen shot on the Mac, if you use command-shift-4, and then use the space bar, the cursor turns into a camera icon, and you can click on a window and capture ONLY that window.
You do not need to go to the search field.
Try something like this:
New Window Name [ "Search ]
Set Error Capture [ On ]
Set variable [ $searchValue ; GlobalSearch::GlobalSearch ]
Enter Find Mode (do not choose restore)
Set field [ Database::Sign Name; "==" & $searchValue ]
Set field [ Database::Check!; "==" & $searchValue ]
If [ Get(FoundCount) = 0]
Show Custom Dialog [ "No records found"]
Sort Records [ no dialog]
instead of Set Field you can use Insert calculated Result ["== " & GlobalSearch::GlobalSearch]
You can use the same calculation in Set Field.
It's just a knee-jerk from times when you could not set a date field to "1.1.2016...31.12.2016" in a script after a "enter find mode" but you could insert a calculated result for that...
Thank you Bruce! That solved it!
