Page 34 covers container fields.
Both interactive containers displaying content on screen, and exporting field contents to save container data, are supported by WebDirect.
Note that the no dialog option is not supported for exports due to browser sandboxing rules. Files are downloaded to the browser's default downloads folder.
While it is supported, it has issues!
FM is aware that export from Containers in WebDirect does not work with server .NET framework. The export acts like it is working, but goes no where. This is a major issue for me right now. I have 4 container fields I can no longer use on WebDirect as intended.
In order for it to work you have to uncheck .NET on the server(at least this was FM's suggestion as of Monday this week). If my admin does that, then the windows server dashboard is unusable.
Also, with interactive containers turned on the PDF does not show up in WebDirect. Again FM indicated a .NET issue. The interactive container just displays "initializing" with a progress bar. But, never does show the PDF.
