Product and version FileMaker Pro 14.0.3

OS and version OS X El Capitan 10.11

Hardware MBP Retina 13" Early 2013, 8GB RAM

Description

On a layout using an imported Theme, SOME styled layout text objects suddenly get LocalCSS (color) just by editing their text content - or even just clicking in their text!

(Seems to be an error in the FileMaker code which decides if the current color is equal to the style color - at least for for SOME colors it seems)

How to replicate

  1. Create a file File A
  2. Create a File File B
  3. Import the Theme Enlightened in to File B (which is created as Enlightened 2
  4. Change the layout to the imported theme "Enlightened 2"
  5. Create a text objects and apply Accent Text 1 => in the Inspector = style + black triangle
  6. Click in the text object, click outside again, =>  in the Inspector = style +red triangle

Styles with black or white text seem to have no problem.

Analyzing the clipboard using fmCheckMate & fmTextDiff (from fmWorkMate.com) shows the following differences before and after clicking in the text field:

Workaround

Re-apply the style to the text object

-> but for EVERY change to text on the layout = HUGE effort

Thanking you for your feedback!
