FM Crashes after 30-40 times use "Speak" command

My project "Quele" has on timer script. The script check DB and reads the message with Speak command. Message on russian.

And every day FileMaker crashes, after about  a 30-40 messages.

      Does Anyone use this command?

          Добрый день, Вадим,

I think you are overloading FileMaker and your computer. Are you running this on MacBook Air? This model (3,2) is quite low spec, it looks like you are running  quite a few OnTimer scripts and it uses speak in FileMaker which I suspect behind scene runs built-in speak. You can try to trigger shell speak instead of FileMaker and send it to the background and may be iCal/system daemon to run FileMaker scripts instead of onTimer scripts.

          Edit  ---

My mistake, OSX shell command is "say" not speak.

            Здравствуйте Николай.

            Thank you for response!

MacBook Air - fourth computer I try to use in this task. Before I use MacBook pro (core 2 duo, and i5) with same result

On this computer works only one OnTimer script, and check one FM table.

Now I bypass this problem by prerecord audio files and call them from FM by afplay shell command.

Thanks for you solution, I also thought to do that.

This is a known issue in FileMaker Pro 13 and FileMaker Pro 14 on Mac OS X. Any additional information will be found on the Report a Product Issue Thread: Crash after "Speak" script command
