Hi, I need to pass a list of Ids to server using List of summary and already tried few options but I'm not getting the list of Ids. I really appreciate if anyone could guide me . Thanks in advance. Attached here is my coding.
Then the file I sent you shows you how. Either set a field to the ListOf value before calling PSoS, or pass the list as a parameter (a bit dangerous, since you might overrun the allowable characters).
You can't use list as ExecuteSQL() parameter.
And, do you want to pass "all field values in Component data" instead of list of ids?
Hi, actually I need to get a foundset so I thought of passing list of Ids.
Try the GetSummary function. Use the summary field as both parameters,
Hi Mike, I tried using the Get summary method but then I could c that It only gives me one record instead of the 40 /100 records in foundset eventhough i did loop.
Here is my script
Sorry I tested with wrong script ady ...If I test with the script that I showed..It aint giving me any result..
That's a great function.
I used that and the List summary field type for the first time the other day. Its one of those things that, after you use it once, you don't see how you lived without it!
It works fine here (see attached file).
I don't think of using find mode, set the list to global field and "Go to Related Records".
You are setting "List of IDs field" in find mode, is this correct? Isn't there any "ID" field to find?
Hi, sorry I cant see any file attached...
Hi, can I see any script step on how to do it?
I need to find the foundset and after get the foundset I need to export a file to container field. I'm still a newbie so I appreciate if there's any demo that I can refer to Thank you
What file are you trying to export to a container field? That doesn't make sense.
I want to use a plugin to perform an export, so I use PSOS to use the plugin. Since the server cant identify my foundset so I need to pass the foundset to the server and the plugin at the server able to export the file with the current foundset of records.
It worked using the List of value!! Thank you all for your guides
