I know how to do this in older versions, but I'm now using FMP 14 and cannot figure out how to set alternate row (or record) colors in list view
The Inspector (when Body part is selected) shows this under the Appearance tab:
Primary is the normal color
Alternate is the every-other color
Active is when the record is selected/active.
Those are the "colors"!
Whether they are "used" depends on the Part Definition (double click the Body part label):
Thank you! I couldn't find it anywhere
Mark the question as answered, please!
Any way to do conditional row color based on user's OS? A nice pale blue looks great in Chrome on a Mac, but can't read it with Chrome on a PC.
There is the function Get ( SystemPlatform ):
may perform differently on hosted files - you might wish to test and see what result you get for the different platforms (your users). If this gives you different values, then the function may be used in the Conditional Formatting (CF). Keep in mind that CF does NOT honor the states for the part.
Hmmm, found this . . .
I should have mentioned that we are deploying on WD. Doesn't look like it is possible to modify portal row colors this way.
