Pulling and Summarizing Data From the Wrong Side of a Related Table

I created a table with what was at the time all of the necessary data available. The problem is that I need to make a new table that list the expected value assigned to a person. So a summary of the setup is:

Table A

Name

Area

Value

Table B

Name

Expected Value

I built the layout using Table A, which would would be populated like this:

NameAreaValue
JohnNY5
MaryPT10
JohnORD7
MaryPT12
JohnNY3

While Table B would be populated like this:

NameExpected Value
John20
Mary25

On the layout that uses Table A, I have a pie chart and need to calculate the sum of one person's value while divided by the expected value and later the sum of all values divided by the expected value. Now from Table B I could easily pull a summary of the Value field because Table B has the primary key, but doing the reverse seems to not work the same way.

I considered switching the view to a layout that uses Table B, but that would be a lot of extra work and who knows what issues will arise.

Any ideas?
