You could use the LocationValues function, e.g. a script like:
Set Variable [ $myLocation; Value:LocationValues ( 100; 40 ) ]
Set Field [ myTable::latitude; GetValue ( $myLocation ; 1 ) ]
Set Field [ lmyTable::longitude; GetValue ( $myLocation ; 2 ) ]
... which gets the GPS location with accuracy within 100m and with a timeout of 40 seconds.
for more information...
I'll try this out later on.
I'm guessing I need three fields
It is only 2 fields:
$myLocation is just a local script variable that stores calculated LocationValues just for the duration of the running script.
Thanks, once I figured out what you meant it was straightforward.
Of course it doesn't work on the mac, and has to be tried on the iPad out in the garden.
Thanks a lot.
