          Thank you for your post.

Since this is a random problem, what actions are being performed on the server?  Do any additional schedules possibly interfere with the script(s) being run?  Are there any other applications running on the server?

Your answers, along with the FileMaker Server logs and the server dump file may be helpful.  I have sent you a private message with instructions where to send the files.

I received your Windows DMP file.  However, I did not receive any of the FileMaker Server log files.  Please also send those in.

In addition, if you have a copy/clone of the solution, send that in, too.

The tester discovered that the machine was possibly out of memory at the time of the crash.

Run MSinfo32 on the server, and send the results using the instructions from the original private message.

On some servers with less than 8 Gb of Ram we increasing to 16 Gb and we have more stability.

But last crash was on a server with 64 Gb.

Usually not, but some PSoS, could be run by users when a schedule run.

Most of our client have in-house dedicated server but sometimes they could run some other services.

I received your event.log file.  Thank you.

I see several errors in your scripts.  Be sure to clean those up as it will reduce the size of the log file.  The 101 and 401 errors are fine as they refer to no records found and go to next record exiting after last.  Still, matching the event log with the crash dump from 10:02 AM yesterday does not seem to show anything specific.  Can you verify the time?

Besides a screen shot of the first page of MSinfo32, can you save the entire MSinfo32 results to a file and send it in?

Please also send an entire set of FileMaker Server log files.

Testing has looked over the files, and in essence, the machine is running out of memory.  The system info file shows only 2 out of 32GB free.  The crash occurs because your script created a buffer of 318318640 or ~318MB when the OS attempted to allocate memory it threw an exception attempting to accommodate the buffer size.  It ran out of memory at 1048618 or 1.04MB.

First, free up memory.  It has 32GB but only 2GB free.  Find out what is taking up so much memory.  We are not French speakers, but this appears to be a VM server and hosting virtual machines with Hyper-V.  Is that where all the memory is going?  Try lowering the database cache to free up RAM.  Remove extra applications like FileMaker Pro and Symantec.

Do any of your scripts create large arrays of data?  Is the data being discarded or is it continually saved?

Look at the sase process after the scripts complete, and make sure it shrinks after it grows.  If it doesn't shrink and continues to grow, then we need your help designing a reproducible script/solution.
