maybe look into a syncing solution between servers... check out 360works MirrorSync and LinearBlue SyncDec solutions.
So, I think you could make a task scheduler if you are on windows that copies the file maker file to the server the file itself is located at
C:\Program Files\FileMaker\FileMaker Server\Data\Databases.
So you can copy the file to that location

We tried with Automator, generating a process to copy from one path to another, but the risk is high if the data passes out of the other solutions.
To move file from server A to server.
Assumes server A has a regular backups...
On server B write a server OS level script that closes the files on the server, moves the most recent backup from server A to server B and rehosts the files on server b.
For sync solutions GoZync by Seedcode/Todd Geist is also a viable solution.
