I'm interested in learning more about the strategies I could use to restrict list view to the "top 10" records based on a specific value field. For example, I have 6,000 entries each with a score field. I would like to sort the list by the score field (I know how to do that), but then only show the top 10 (or 20 or 30) records by score.
I realize I can do this in a portal, but this is for a printed report and the list view seems to be better suited to printing (e.g., page breaks). We use portals currently, but again I am thinking the list view may grant greater flexibility.
FYI ... I'm not a programmer by trade. Happy to learn, but my knowledge level is probably a little below average!
