WIth the new FM SDK for iOS, will it now be possible to send notifications to a user's device without the need for a third-party app? I've tried searching online but haven't yet been able to find whether or not this is technically possible.
No, It's not possible with iOS SDK yet.
We would need to have FM Go have the infrastructure to for example trigger a script if a notification comes in.
Maybe someday we get a plugin SDK for iOS to do that.
My PushFM app will be adjusted to work with iOS SDK apps very soon:
PushFM on the App Store
probably just customize the URL scheme to call the iOS SDK app instead of FM Go, right?
Yes, and I also have few improvements not related to SDK
Sounds great. I'd made some progress a while back integrating PushFM into one of my workflows but held off when the SDK was announced. Interested to see what else it's able to do.
I can send you a beta version of PushFM via TestFlight, if you would like to test it before the release.
thanks, but no necessary right now. I will have not enough time to test during your testflight.
I Have one app in review and I'm working on a second one the weeks coming.
None of them need notification yet
but I have other projects needing this feature. As soon as I start these ones I download and try pushFM
and I Will probably come back to you soon for conference purpose
