Not sure what you mean by a bug. I dragged some content into the field on both layouts and got the "Ciao!" popup. No errors at all. Trigger worked fine and could not replicate.
Can someone with 10.11.3 check?
Thank you for the test, Mike,
I added some comments, but they are in Italian (I forgot to translate).
There are 2 accounts: Pluto and Pippo.
Pluto does not have access limitation, in fact if you click "Accedi con Pluto" the trigger works.
Pippo has the Write limitation with a formula that points to a related table, and if you click "Accedi con Pippo" the trigger does not work.
Can you replicate it now?
It works fine for me. Dragged text in and get the Ciao. Mac OS X 10.11.3 and FMPA 14.0.4.
no change, I must not be understanding what is not working. Every trigger works fine for me regardless if I type or drag things in.
Ooooops, my bad. Yes, I get your error. In the Pippo privilege for the "Bug Trigger" table, if you change the VIEW option to Yes for Pippo, then it will work.
It's not a bug, it's an endless loop.
You are limiting the view of records in bug trigger conditioned by a field in bug trigger. If you can't view it, you can't decide if you can view it or not, do you follow me ? Imagine viewing it anyway but seeing a 0 which means you shouldn't view it, what next ?
mmm you could be right :-)
But why doesn't it work even if you change the "Trascina" field to global?
Because no matter what TYPE the field is, it remains a FIELD and obeys as such to the rules in the privilege set.
