I am running Filemaker Server 14 (FDS) on Windows 8.1. The installation was event free and I am able to serve database files to Filemaker Pro Advanced 14 running on the same workstation. I have a Windows 10 PC connected to the same local network as the server but I am not able to see the server in Filemaker or when I try to access the server console using the browser. I have taken the following steps in an attempt to remedy the problem:
1) Installed IIS on the Windows 10 PC
2) Allowed inbound traffic on the server PC ports 80, 443, 5300
3) Allow inbound and outbound traffic on the client pc ports 80, 443, 5300
I noticed that the IP in the server console is different from the IP address for the server displayed in the Filemaker client app.
Any suggestions how I might resolve or troubleshoot this problem is greatly appreciated.
