Either way would work. Much depends on your skills and preference. And what kind of traffic you expect.
Thanks wimdecorte. Would you mind mentioning the terms I would use to search within the Filemaker documentation about creating a website with user logins and passwords, forgot password emails, etc.?
Or would I have to create this functionality myself?
Not sure what you expect that is pre-built... All the tools are there in FM but the end-to-end functionality like a user clicking a "forgot my password" link on a website is something that you need to put together.

Thanks again. I have no expectations about what is pre-built other than Filemaker seems to have a lot of things pre-built to make it faster for development. User membership/accounts with passwords/logins, etc. is probably one of the biggest pains of anything to do with website development and I was hoping Filemaker had figured that part out.
