If you move the vertical slicers(?) the width of transparent area will be changed. Now they are wider than non-active records.
And I think your image file should have same transparent area in width.
Thanks for responding.
I've moved the vertical slicers every which way but with no solution. The image doesn't stretch out as far as it did before I changed it. I'm using the 'canyon' theme. It has a bluish border with vertical stripes. I assume that when you refer to 'transparent area' you mean that bluish border.
At the time, this is looking like some kind of bug.
Sorry my reply was not clear.
Your layout may be something like
I changed only vertical slice bar of default theme to "wider", then get similar result of your screen shot.
This image "canyonbodyactive.png" has transparent area on both left and right side. So if you include it in sliced area (center of divided 3 x 3), blueish background appears.
Seems true, but can you get the edges of the middle tannish section to match the edges of the brown header. After I change to one of the other images, like canyonbody.png, there isn't any way to get the edges out to the match the edges of the header and footer.
All this is a little academic since there are work-arounds, like creating a rectangle, giving it the right color and stretching it out over the record area.
Still, it would be nice if ...
Ouch, I meant "minimum size of slice from image file", getting colors from brand logo slicing 1x1px.
Or, as you said, there can be bug in the theme. "Canyon" is introduced with FM12 and deprecated in FM14.
I don't know why so many themes are deprecated, but it may be old themes are buggy in new FMs, or not used by many people.
There is no reason to use it in new file any more.
Thanks for pointing out the deprecation issue. That explains a lot. The slicer option, etc., aren't available in the themes that remain undeprecated. Appreciate your attention on this!
