You can use Find Mode to do the search. In that case, the self-join portal in the pop-over would update and the user would see a list of all record found as well as the record he's on.
Would that work?
The thing is that i want to use the popover as an interface tool to add the find requests and the criteria and upon closing it, then return to the Form Viewed layout with the records found.
I mean that using the popover as a "window" and adding to it multiple find requests as if you would normally do if you were in a List View layout.
Any other thoughts?
I'm afraid I don't really understand why you would need to be in List View to be able to run such a search? But there is plenty I do not know so I'm willing to learn why
Sorry I'm not helping as much!
If you are on a layout in List View and you enter find mode, you're viewing the find requests as record lines. As it when you normally view the records in Browse mode list view.
Oh I see!
So if I understand correctly you want the user to be able to enter several find requests in the different lines of the portal which is in your pop-over, instead of writing over the previous request as is common in Form View.
Thanks for explaining it!
