Product and version    FileMaker Advanced 14.0.5, FileMaker Pro 14.0.4

OS and version    OSX 10.11.3, Windows 10

Hardware    Mac Mini, Terminal Server

Description    If you create a PDF of a record in a layout with a portal that slides up, and the portal is empty, the PDF will be corrupted.

How to replicate

In the body of a new layout create a portal to a related table.

Place some fixed text below the portal.

Set the portal and text block to slide up based on only objects directly above, and Also resize enclosing part.

Create a record that has no related records (so the portal is empty).

Save/Send Records as PDF..., Current Record.

Open the generated PDF with Acrobat or Reader, the text block will not display.

Print to PDF does not seem to have the issue.

A scripted Save records as PDF, or Save/Send records as PDF... from the File menu does.

The PDF appears correct in Preview on Mac, Acrobat on the Mac will not show the text below the portal.

Acrobat and Acrobat Reader on Windows give an "Error exists" warning, and will not show the text below the portal.

Workaround (if any)     none known for the scripted Save records as PDF.
