Not sure what you mean by "the external folder location". Are you talking about the FMS remote container feature?
I meant the folder location(which we specify in the export field content) in the desktop system.
I did this and it exported to the folder location. I have two files with the name Sample.doc . Hence, during the exporting process any of the file should be renamed to Sample_1.doc. Please advise on how to split the word before dot(.), adding _1, splitting after dot(.)
if the file names will only have the one "." in it then you can substitute() to replace it with a return
then use getvalue() to get the real name
If file names can be contain multiple "." then you should use patterncount() to find the last one and parse from there.
