Using the Send Mail feature, Is there a way to change who to send email FROM? Thanks
A: how are you sending the mail? Client or SMTP?
B: are you interested in changing who sends it, or from whom it appears to come?
A. Client, this is for a company Outlook email. (I don't know much about SMTP, beginning user)
B. I guess whom it appears to come from. I would like to send the emails out of FM, but the FROM should be a colleague's email address that I'm doing the email blast for. So the emails should look like they are coming from my colleague and if there are responses to the sent emails, then my colleague can reply.
Then you option is to run the script step WITHOUt ticking the perform without dialogue box, and when the email client pops up the end user will have to have all the multiple accounts the way to use set up on their machine, and select which one the email should be sent from
Hmm. Yes, a bit ugly and prone to all kinds of errors..
This worked! Also in Outlook I made the FROM person a "delegate" to my email. So my emails now show Mark Otto on behalf of FROM (delegate) person. Thanks! I appreciate the help!
Thanks... glad to be of assistance
