I noticed that a completely white screen is displayed 1-2 seconds before the launch image appears.
Is there a way to prevent that or at least to change the color of that screen to black , which is the background color of my app ?
I downloaded the app from this thread Is this the first iOS App SDK app LIVE on The App Store?
and it does not have the white screen at launch.
I don't understand what's going on.
I even changed the solution file for a very small one , in case the file size was the problem and it still displayed that white screen.
Anyone has an idea?
I don't get a white screen. I'm new with xcode myself but I believe the issue is that you have not place the correct size image in all the correct fields. Google launch image sizes iPhone or iPad to make sure you have the correct images sizes. I'm sure you have an empty launch image field and that is why it is white.
I have the following 3 image sizes (Universal)
768x1024 for x1
640x1136 for x2
1242x2208 for x3
Still getting a white screen prior the launch image.
I aven just restarted the project from scratch.
Deleted the old project folder.
Followed the IOSAppSdk guide
Compiled with the default launch images and solution file.
Still getting that damn white screen.
I'm lost here.
I would try different images sizes. Size for iPhone 6 - 750 x 1334.
Finally got rid of the white screen !
I regenerated everything, from my app id to my provisional profile and redownloaded everything.
