A popover outside of a portal will show the related information from the first related record, and not subsequent records.
There are ways around that if that is what you want to do.
Popovers inside portals work but are limited to not having another portal, tab controls, or slide controls inside them.
i agree that a popover in a portal can not have another portal but it can have a tab control or slide control.
If you want the fields on the popover to show data from the portal record, make sure they are from the portal relationship. Provided the popover BUTTON is entirely within and captured by the portal row you will see a button on each portal row and the fields on it will be from that row. If the button is not captured by the portal you will see only a single button and it will show only data from the first related record.
that's correct. as long as the popover button itself is within the portal row .... it will show that related data in the PopOver Panel that is drawn. You could have the popover panel cover the entire screen.
