Thank you for your post.
This is the latest post I see that you've authored: Why did my FMPro12Adv crash?
For finding a developer you might search here: FileMaker Consultants, Data Consultants, Database Consultants
-I always recommend a general Location/Area search, but you can make it as specific as you'd like.
I hope this helps!
Thanks, but the most recent posting you found is the one I found, too. But the thread that's missing had at least two postings from me and three reply postings.
And thanks for the link to find a developer...
I will report the missing post. Do you have any details on it? Title/Subject, general description? Any idea on around what date you would have posted it?
I found a number of threads you initiated, found using my email client.
2015-9-3 This one seems to be deleted: https://community.filemaker.com/message/504939?et=watches.email.thread#504939, title: Kinda embarrassed to ask . . .
I can send you the email texts from this thread in a private message (hopefully) if you would like, but there was a problem with erolst's file attachment. Also, you were signed in slightly differently.
I hope this is helpful.
Beatrice -- you are a genius! The first link/thread was what I was after. I'm so glad I didn't have to reconstruct all my thinking and re-state it.
You're right--my sign-ins got bolloxed up because I suppose I was confused by the new and old formats, plus the fact that I'm not a regular poster.
So I have no idea how you found it, but you could probably get a job with the NSA without any problem!
Thanks so much - - (and incidentally, I had just put out a Consultation Request out to Julie Sigfrinius at FM.com -- apparently the novice/first-timers are offered various sorts of assistance, and I'm taking advantage of any recommendation she may have for someone who might take on a mini-job like mine. Most developers have minimums and can't be bothered with fixes that most folks more familiar with FM than me could probably accomplish with help through the Community. I'm at the point where I'd be happy to pay someone for an hour or two to tackle this for me.)
Lost posts aren't really lost, just misplaced. Looks like the FMI Community Admin found yours and its now visible in the "Discussion" area.
There you go, gregew. Ch0c0halic to the rescue.
