I created an SSL cert with the assistance of FM support and imported it.
To complete the process I restarted the FMS service.
Users where then unable to connect to the host server.
How do I resolve ?

Which Vendor and Certificate did you go with from the List of supported SSL certificate types and vendors for FileMaker platform | FileMaker? Also, did you do the request through the Vendor themselves or a third-party?

I got it comodo and it was a fully qualified name and not a wildcard. I worked with a filemaker support person.
As long as the request was made and the certificate was returned to you properly, there should be no problems with a Supported Certificate. However if you have an unsupported certificate or perhaps made the request through someone other than the Certificate Authority (such as InCommon) there could be issues like this. If you are certain the certificate and request was made properly, you may clear your CStore folder, make the request once more and import again. See if the issue persists.
