I have 12 records, each with the same fields. So I have 12 pages. I want two records on one page, so I have 6 pages. I've tried sliding, but that doesn't do much. Is there a way to do this?
Is this just for printing? If it is just print a list view and make the body portion large enough for half a page.
You can also set the part preferences for the body to "not break across pages" so that it will force only what fits fully on each page.
If for printing, you can have 2 columns (fields in one will show the "next" record across)
Go to layout mode. Then go to layout set up to see what your top and bottom margins are. I recommend fixing them to something like a half inch. Then in layout mode find out the size of your header and footer. Assuming you want this in portrait mode, subtract the header, footer, and two margins from 11 inches. Divide the result by 2. This will give you the maximum size for your body. Place your fields on the layout. You'll need to print the pages from list view and make sure you select Records being browsed.
the help on printing in columns:
* Setting up to print records in columns
If your layout is sized so that the Height is one record (one page long), the second column would be the next record.
Consider portrait of landscape before you resize the parts and columns.
