I've tried this with no luck. I also attempted opening the DB on a MAC and had no luck..
Did you restart FileMaker after editing registry?
If MAC also fails, don't you try to use the feature what not run on browser (need to install google drive "application") ?
What do you see in MAC when failed, similar "old browser" message?
Same exact page being displayed as regarding the old browser on each OS. The DB I have this on is about 1GB or I would just upload it.
I don't have mac, so difficult to trace mac things. But I could confirm on windows that default registry value 9000 (in decimal) made the "old browser" error, and changing the value to 11000 fixed it.
Did you see the default value (9000 or 0x00002328) and changed it in editing registry, or added the key yourself?
What version of FM do you use? Are your windows/FM 64bit?
Maybe you should post direction how to update the registry as you did in the post January. There are several user that don't know how to edit the registry.
I have edit my registry back several months ago and I just tested google drive and it displays on my Windows 10 system.
From user 19752 old post.
Open command prompt, then
reg add "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION" /v "FileMaker Pro.exe" /t REG_DWORD /d 11000 /f
will change the webviewer to IE11.
For FMPA, change the name in command to "FileMaker Pro Advanced.exe".
If this works for you, credit still goes to user19752 because this his answer from an older post.
Worked perfect, thanks!
This is user 19752 correct answer not mine.
