Hi. Do you want to store the values you have mentioned (name, email, department etc) in the records in your FM database or are you asking how users can connect to the FM database using their Active Directory accounts?
To allow users to connect to the FM database using their Active Directory accounts, follow these step:
1. Go to File>Manage Security> Accounts tab.
2. Create a New Account.
3. Set the "Account is authenticated via: "External Server"
4. Set the name of the new account to be the same as your Active Directory group.
5. Assign a Privilege Set.
Then users in that Active Directory group can log in to the database using those credentials.
