If you use IE, data: in web viewer is not supported. Try with other browsers.
Thanks. Yeah I see it works with Chrome. I'm going to assume there's no work around for that? Which is going to suck as I need it to work with IE... Shucks... Well, back to good old PNGs then!
Although, I guess you could have the code in a html file on a server and point the web viewer at that. Might not be worth the effort in this instance but an option.
"The code in a html"
<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title>svg viewer for IE</title>
document.write("<img src='data:image/svg+xml;base64," + decodeURIComponent(window.location.search.substring(1)) + "'>");
Then use it in web viewer
Get(HostIPAddress) & // not worked when the server have 2 (or more?) IP addresses.
"/showsvg.html?" & GetAsURLEncoded ( Substitute ( Base64Encode ( table::field ) ; Char ( 1000013 ) ; "" ) )
There is limit for GET length, so if your SVG is large, you need POST for php or something.
Or, make html on the fly with embedded SVG?
(tested with very short SVG on IE/Firefox/Chrome)
