So I am trying to make a touch citation interface with a windows tablet for our motorcycle users to use.
I'm having a few problems: (OS: Windows 8.1 Pro)
In FileMaker 13 the portals won't scroll.
In FileMaker 14 the window won't scroll, but the portals will.
FileMaker really should spend time designing touch interface into their desktop editions of their products and not just the iPad versions. Microsoft is pushing really hard for touch friendly interfaces, and I can't say that I have a problem with that.
I haven't tried slide controls, but I would almost place a bet that it doesn't register the touch motion. iPads and iPhones are not the be-all-end all for touch interfaces. Sometimes you just need the full version of FileMaker in windows and having touch functionality built in would be a big boon for windows developers.
Please note my tone is frustration and annoyance, not a dislike for the product.
