I would like to copy data (text) from a field in one table to a field in another table. How do I do that?

I have three files:

- Journal Data

- Company Data

- UI (the layouts, scripts etc.)

In the file Company Data I have a table named Crop with the field z_ConcatSwedishAndLatinNameAndSSP which is just what it says, a field that concatenates text from other fields within the same table. This part works fine and I can view the string in the layout for each instance/record of Crop.

I now want to COPY that string, z_ConcatSwedishAndLatinNameAndSSP to the field with the same name in the table Batch that is located in the file Journal Data.

Below is what the relationship looks like, and it has been done in the file UI.

As far as I can check, the relationship works ok. I can add new batches that are related correctly to the crop-data, except for the z_ConcatSwedishAndLatinNameAndSSP that seems to be empty.

Any suggestions how I can copy the data?
