So I hope this is an easy question. I've been off sick for a few days and my brain probably still isn't functioning probably, but how do I get the name of the current tab??? I have object names set up.
Note that there are script triggers available for tab panel switching; and you can get current and target panel info.
Note that the result is a list; the panel NUMBER; followed by the name, if one is assigned.
How do you want to use this?
If you are trying to display the name of the front most tab that is one question.
If you are trying to capture the name of the current tab when you switch tabs that is a different question.
You cannot get the name of the current tab – most likely because there could be several of them.
But you can check if a specific object name is the name of an active tab:
This is from FM12; make sure to consult the Help for your version, because the relevant argument names ("isFrontTab", "isFrontPanelTab" …?) are different between some versions (which is why I cannot remember them )
I'm looking to get the object name of the current tab so I can store it in a variable for a previous and next button. I might go to slide panels as they may be less complicated in the long run.
