Is there a way to have the Windows onscreen keyboard automatically show when you click on a field using a Surface Pro tablet?
Or am I going to have to use a script trigger and create my own keyboard?
I found that you need to enable the on screen keyboard with this script step to have it display when you click on a field.
Enable Touch Keyboard [On]
But I haven't been able to show a numeric keypad by default on Windows 10 so it's useless for me.
The Touch Keyboard Type setting in the field options appears to be IOS only.
The keyboard types are only for fmgo. You can build a numeric keypad in a popover which would be nicer than a computer keypad if it existed.
Yep, one of the main problems with the Windows Tablet keyboard is that they tend to slide over the field that you are trying to type into... if you are used to the iOS way of things, it's a big adjustment.
Hi I have similar issues any help into how to create a numeric keypad on a popover ?

this is amazing thanks !
If I needed to add a "\" or "/" how hard would it be or where would I need to add code ?
I modified the sample to add a "/" button for fraction display, such as 1 1/4. This is a numeric keypad not a calculator. I also added instruction how to add buttons.
Thanks works like a charm... If you needed to use the keypad for another field lets say DOB would you need to duplicate everything or can the same keypad be used ?
Same keypad can be used. You will have to add the script trigger to show and hide the keypad.
Here is a stripped down version of what I did to use on a Microsoft Surface Pro
It's a little simpler than the other posted sample.
Look at script parameters and script triggers to figure it out.
