Product & Version: FileMaker Pro Advanced 14.0.5, FileMaker Go 14.0.4

OS & Version: Mac OS X 10.10.5, iOS 9.3.1

Browser & Version: N/A (not tested yet)

Hardware: Early 2009 Mac Mini, iPhone 6, iPad Air 2

Description: See below.

How to Replicate: Have FileMaker generate a pie chart in which at least 2 adjacent values are small (relative to the entire pie chart).

Workaround: None.

So, this has been a problem since FileMaker introduced Charts in Version 11 in, what, 2009-2010...

When a pie chart is generated in which the adjacent pie segments are small (meaning "thin") compared to the overall size of the pie, the value labels for those segments overwrite each other and smear together, as shown here:

While one might say that I'm trying to display information about "too many" languages, the same problem can occur when trying to display only three:

It would be nice if FileMaker enhanced the pie chart generating feature to reduce the label overwrite problem by perhaps making greater use of the white space surrounding the pie itself in order to spread the label text regions out in such a way that they no longer collide, with arrows from them pointing back to the pie segments they refer to...
