ExecuteSQL was introduced in FM12.
If you have the relationships, you can show the related field(s) on a layout.
However, it is difficult to see what would be unique to match between the two tables (with ExcecuteSQL or relationship matches).
What field(s) do you think should match?
as an addition to the answer from Beverly: You can use SQL under FileMaker11 - but You need a Plugin (MBS, etc)

And re-reading the entire post. The subject says ExecuteSQL (no space), but also says 'script'. In addition within the post, the line

makes me wonder if this is the Script Step (which would be ODBC and only INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE), where the 'result' seems to imply SELECT. So...
1. FMP 11 does not have the ExecuteSQL() function, as it was introduced in FMP 12.
2. The Execute SQL script step is used with ODBC, was this really the question?
3. the match fields need to be defined whether using functions or script steps or ???
