Can you set an upper limit to the number of characters displayed in a number sequence? Eg. If I had '123.45' I'd like the number limited to 4 characters including the decimal point = 123. However, if the number was '30', I'd like it to stay as such.

The numbers in question are generated by a script that evaluates a list of records containing equations. At worst I could write bespoke equations rounding to custom lengths, but that is harder to maintain.

Does this work:

Left (Table::number_field; 4 )

The only thing is if you have 1234567, then you get 1234. Is that a desired result?
