Windows Sizing when Hiding the Toolbar

    Fred(CH)

      Product and version

      FileMaker Pro 15.0.1 and 14.0.5

      OS and version

      OS X 10.10.5

      Hardware

      iMac Retina 5K 27'' late 2014

      Description

On a Mac System, FileMaker try to adjust the windows size accordingly when you Hide or Show the toolbar.

However, if you Hide the toolbar after switching from a Mode to another, the windows size is not changed.

Showing and Hiding the toolbar without any mode change (or if the change really fast, i.e. in a script without a pending) does not exhibit the error.

      How to replicate

On FileMaker 14 or 15 under OS X, open the sample file in attachment

      Press the button test 1.

Note the dialog box saying how much pixel are wrong (referring to WindowsContentHeight).

      Press the button test 2.

Note the dialog box saying how much pixel are wrong (referring to WindowsContentHeight).

      Compare both result.

      Remark

Interestingly, v15 have 58 pixel wrong when v14 have 57. So a patch is a bit hazardous.
