Was the find request done using a script as well?
Find request data is dynamic, so you would need to build something that went through every field on a layout for every record of the find request to "build" your global variable. You can also only do this while in find mode.
Something like this may work:
Modify Last Find
Go To Record/Request [ First ]
Set Variable [ $i ; $i + 1 ]
Set Variable [ $$requests [ $i ] ; List( "Field 1: " & table::field1 ; "Field 2: " & table::field2 ; etc... ) ]
Go to Record/Request [ Next ; Exit after Last ]
Enter Browse Mode
to extend Mikes suggestion you could grab the fieldnames on the layout with the FieldNames function, check to see if they are empty and if not then catalog them in the global var
Thanks for the suggestions. I found what I needed. It was the Get (ActiveFieldContents) function.
That only works literally on the active field though. What if someone's find request has multiple requests? Or has more than one field filled out?
