Product and version FileMaker Server 220.127.116.11, Clients: FileMaker Pro 13.0v5 & FMPA 13.0v5
OS and version Windows Server 2012 R2, Clients: Mac OS X 10.10.5 and Windows 10
FileMaker 13.0v5 clients are able to connect to FileMaker Server 15 with TLS enabled, and report proper encryption
My understanding is that connections from clients older than 13.0v9 were banned for security reasons when TLS is enabled. Certainly, FMS14 would not allow connections from FMP13.0v5 clients.
Has the old issue somehow been fixed server side and is now secure with these older clients, or is this a security bug?
How to replicate Connect to a FileMaker 15 server with SSL enabled using FM13.0v5
Additional Info: We use a wildcard certificate issued by Digicert. I have not tested this with the default cert or non-wildcard custom cert.
Thank you for your post, and I apologize for the late reply.
The previous TLS issue has been implemented in FileMaker Server 15.
