Web viewer stop auto refresh

I am using a progress bar ( ) in a web viewer on my FileMaker solution when a script is running to show the estimated remaining time.

The script scan the database, and the progress bar is updated each time 5% of the records are scanned.

The problem occurs when the database is really big. If it takes too much time before updating the progress bar, the web viewer will automatically refresh the page, and then the default text and progression of the progress bar shows until the next 5%.

I tried using Freeze Window but no luck.

Is there a way to stop the auto refresh as said on help.filemaker:

"The Web Viewer feature will reload/refresh* a web page when you cycle through records in Browse Mode"

(How the Web Viewer feature caches and reloads web pages | FileMaker))
