I just went through this a couple weeks ago.....the crux was a conflict between my existing email account that I used for registering for the community, and a new account I had used (at my new job) for the registration for FDS. This created two community accounts, and I was always logging into my old account to get to previous questions etc.
After emailing for support I asked them to combine the two accounts, and now I can access the FDS items, and indeed have just installed and shared my first file on Filemaker server. However in the short term, maybe you also have more than one account registered?
