Restart your HP, perhaps reboot your machine.
Alternatively, print to PDF first and then try to print the PDF to the HP.
In general: yes: always go to the latest patch because they solve bugs.
In Print settings make sure you check "all pages" as well as setting the number of copies. Sounds silly simple but I've done it.

You can try reinstalling your printer drivers, and reinstalling and updating your copy of filemaker as a remedy, however upgrading versions may be your best option.
What mikebeargie said. You should at least be at 13.0v9 as the latest version of 13, but a newer version is advised.
I had some print driver issues with FileMaker 15 when I went to macOS 10.12. They needed to be reinstalled.
FM stores some printing setting in the file somehow and I have seen those mess things up from time to time. I believe saving compacted or running a recovery clears all of those settings so they start fresh again.
